A perfect place to relax in the shade after a day of fun in the sun! The Chinkapin's decor is bathed in warm crimsons, golds, blacks and greens with an eclectic flare with handmade barn wood pieces throughout and a touch of industrial metal tied in.  The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the other bedroom, a queen.  The large bath with shower separates the 2 bedrooms, and also has a laundry closet with a front load washer and dryer.  The great room has a queen sized sleeper sofa bed best suited for children or young adults. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a dishwasher too, so all you need to bring is food and drink!

These Amish built beauties are within walking distance of the Crabtree Cove Park entrance where the Crabtree trail-head is located.  A .9 mile easy hike that overlooks the lake and bluffs where many partake in cliff-diving!  Crabtree park has a self-pay $3 boat launch, fishing docks, playground equipment and more.  This all just 4 miles east of the city of Stockton where you can get your food, gas, bait etc.

If you are looking for an escape from your fast paced world, basking in the natural tranquility and beauty of nature 1/4 mile from the lake, Crabtree Cottages on Stockton Lake in Missouri is what you seek. This clear blue lake was formed by the damming of the Sac River in 1969, and has been attracting all who love the outdoors ever since. It offers 40 square miles of lake and 300 miles of shoreline. Fishing tournaments are held year round because of the outstanding fishing in this area and harbors species such as Walleye, Crappie, Catfish, and numerous varieties of Bass. The amazing cliff structures beneath the waters surface are not only great for fish habitat, but are well known for the great scuba diving and spear fishing due to the clarity of the lake.
