Kudos to Ms Mariola Laboy (MWR Coordinator). Her courtesy, disposition to assist and hospitality was genuine, making me feel "welcome". My room in Gonzalez Hall was neatly cleaned and confortable.; having the "galley" downstairs was a big plus. Making the reservation as well as checking in/out was smooth and easy. My stay in San juan was awesome!

The location was perfect for visiting downtown San Juan, our room was clean and roomy for the two of us.

The room is as described and has all your essential needs. It is not the Ritz it does not have a pool or a concierge. However, the base has pretty good security, great rental rates for the city ($75 savings), no resort fees nor parking fees ($50) a day savings. You will enjoy a good view of the water daily, as for the missing pool; you are on island you got plenty of beaches. Bottom line USCG MWR Base San Juan Gonzalez hall, is the best deal in town. I hope to be back soon. Thanks

We actually rented two adjoining rooms. The rooms were clean and the A/C was cold. The shower water was hot and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of parking on Base and the Base is a short walking distance from Old San Juan. The Base has a private beach and the staff was nice, and friendly. We couldn't have asked for nicer accommodations!

Easy no hassle check in process. The room was clean and functional. No issues. Maybe add a binder for things to do and conveniences close by for those not on orders (leisure sta y). Thanks. DW

Outstanding!!!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in an MWR room at Base San Juan and we will gladly do it again! The rooms are always clean and squared away. The location is awesome. Viejo San Juan just a short walk, a private beach on base, the CPO Hut, and the CGX combine to meet any immediate need while staying here. Thanks for an excellent stay/experience and we'll see you next time.

Emma Rodriguez, all staff and all MWR lodging employees whom we had contact, either personally or over phone or messaging were so very helpful, courteous and professional in handling our reservations, travel directions and questions that came up. We loved our first trip to Puerto Rico, the food, scenery, coffee, rum, and especially the warmth and hospitality of the Puerto Rican people everywhere we went. The lodging rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable for our needs. The amenity facilities, likewise, used and enjoyable. The food in the galley was VERY GOOD, even though I only got to eat there for lunch one day. CMC Brown took care to make sure I got to try the special Puerto Rican soup (delicious) and the soft serve ice cream that day! I enjoyed several conversations with him during my visit. Likewise, was a pleasure meeting and chatting with LT Fishman at the Chief’s Club with CMC Sr Chief Brown. Thank you to everyone for making our visit special! This input also applies to Room 202. Both 207 and 202 were under my reservation. My niece and her daughter thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable space in suite 202. I used 207. Also, thank you Emma for favorably addressing my dilemma with Delta’s flight rescheduling due to complications with the island’s unexpected power outage and preventing me using the one night reservation in 216. The place is very nice and quiet for being in the city. The water pressure in the shower was not good (very low pressure) aside from that every thing was nice specially the AC which the previous time was noisy this time quiet. Will continue to choose this place as my #1 option for future stays.

I've stayed at the USCG Gonzalez Hall for two consecutive years and both times had been a great experience. The room is always clean and always ready at check-in. Emma Rodriguez assistance was outstanding! Definitely I'll go back again, thanks.

I have enjoyed my stay at Gonzalez Hall. The room was very comfortable and the price was affordable. I plan on visiting again in the future, the facilities at the installation were easily accessible. If you plan on visiting historical Old San Juan this is the place to be. Thank you
