Big Bear Weather Report for January 8th, 2016:
"Another beautiful blue-bird Friday under mostly sunny skies today, but still a bit cool & breezy with highs in the 30's. As we head into the weekend a new trough of low pressure move move through the area on Saturday bringing a renewed chance of snow showers, though not as strong as previous storms with just a couple inches of snow possible above 5,000 feet Saturday night. Clearing, cool and breezy Sunday as temperatures climb back up near 40 degrees, a welcomed change with dry weather into early next week. By Tuesday, the first of another series of storms could arrive with more cold & unsettled weather possible through the end of next week. Timing and intensity of next weeks event(s) is unknown at this time; right now it doesn't look like a repeat event, but with El Nino this season that may not be the last time we see storms of that magnitude."
