In early February 2 friends and I headed to sunny Puerto Rico from cold, damp Washington State. We were ready for a change of climate, new culture and food, along with some adventures. We had all of those.
Our stay in Guest House 3 was made more delightful by a staff that went above and beyond to meet all our needs. They were warm, generous spirited, helpful, and went above and beyond in a number of ways. we were most grateful.
A number of guest houses are currently going through renovations, Guest House 3 is on the list. It needs it. Simple things like water running cleanly through bath pipes will only be fixed with new piping. No amount of pipe cleaner can get 20-30 years of crud out. New pipes are needed. The whole kitchen needs renovation. It was clean, but battered. Washer and dryer were in great shape! We loved having breakfast out on the enclosed porch. Great treat.
Be forewarned and this has nothing to do with the facilities,PR a is on 3G networks. I was on a Zoom board meeting and the internet went down. Could not recover. Apparently, when it rains, this happens almost 100% of the time. Was told later, losing electricity and water frequently occurs.
I recommend this facility knowing that you are not going to spend 100% of your time here. The staff are terrific!
