I’d give 6 stars if I could. Every detail has been thought of for this fabulous property. Our family reunion was perfect. Gourmet kitchen, hot tub, a park like back yard for our pets, comfortable and well appointed bedrooms. The beds!! The most amazing nights sleep. Fans in every room, extra bedding for roll always, comfy tv watching. We cooked and grilled, played pool, rode bikes, took our dogs to the local lake, went kayaking...you name it. This home is so wonderful we never needed to leave to have a great vacation. Due to COVID we didn’t venture out to casinos but only a 10 minute drive and we were enjoying beverages on the patio in South Lake Tahoe. I can’t thank Lora enough for checking in on us and making sure our stay was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back.

This house is a fantastic vacation getaway for family and friends! Great location, close to everything and only 10 minutes away from the casinos! The house has everything! A pool table, TVs in EVERY room with a ton of games and DVDs... the kitchen has pretty much everything you need. LOVE the backyard especially if you’re bringing a dog. We were fortunate to enjoy the snow. Large enclosed back yard you will love! Lora is AWESOME! She is a very classy lady and I give her 2 thumbs up from start to finish! She is very accommodating and her response time is quick! I highly recommend this vacation rental! Thank you Lora! We will be back!!

We just got back from two nights in South Lake Tahoe staying at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. The location just outside South Lake Tahoe is idle as it provides a quiet and mellow environment without all the hustle and bustle of staying right in town. The beds are so comfortable and the house was spotless when we checked in. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and the kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking easy. The second night after every was exhausted from being on the slopes all day we ordered pizza from Bob Dog Pizza which is literally 1 minute from the house. All in all we couldn't have been happier with the rental. It will be our go to place for any future Tahoe getaways. Date of arrival February 22, 2019

We recently stayed in Lora's home in Tahoe, we will be back. Great location and close to everything, skiing, snowmobiling,shopping, eating out,gambling. The home was so much more than we had hoped for. Very clean and well taken care of.Stocked with everything you can imagine and then some. The beds were like laying on clouds, they felt firm, soft and molded to your body at the same time,crazy.Plenty to do right there in the house if one gets snowed in or just wants to stay home,board games,cards, pool table,hot tub.Thank you for helping to make our stay wonderful memories. (The cabin has a nest thermostat on a timer), Second, the kitchen has more than what you’ll need to get that savory pot of soup simmering while you and your family play one of the many games stockpiled, or enjoy hours of fun shooting pool...we did! Next, get your snow gear on and play in the snow! You’ll find toys in the garage to make perfect sized snowballs or build an igloo! Obviously, I can go on about the clean accommodations, the hot tub, the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, etc. Plain and simple, this is the place to be while experiencing God’s country. So close to all that is waiting to be explored in South Shore Tahoe. Lora helps to ensure that each guest has all that is needed to have a retreat amongst the pines. My good friend rented this home for our annual Tahoe trip. This was a warm and well appointed home. It is well maintained and has such wonderful details. I loved the decor, the coffee/ game table is novel and fun. The bedding though was HEAVENLY!!! I sincerely hope we'll be back for future trips. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time in this lovely home. It is spacious, clean, and has lots of games, and "stuff" for everyone! The jacuzzi , and everything else was in good working order. Our son was married at Barron Lake, so we were able to just walk there! That is a great location for hiking, etc. which many people don't know about. We would definitely stay again. E & K

My husband and I stayed at Lora's beautiful home this July and had a wonderful get-a-way. The home accommodations were so comfortable- good quality linens, plenty of activities to do right in the house from cooking , BBQing (worked great and was easy to use!), reading, watching movies, listening to CDs, playing video or board games. We loved the Jacuzzi bath after a long hike but there is also a big spa out back. The neighborhood is quiet but close to EVERYTHING one would need from hiking on the many trails nearby, lake fishing at Baron Lake, wading through the streams, to visiting nearby Tahoe, etc. etc. There were even some bikes to use for cruising around but you can walk to plenty of nearby restaurants, coffee shops, etc. (Bob Dog Pizza is scrumptious!) Thanks Lora for opening your well equipped and tastefully decorated home for others to enjoy!

We are still feeling the relaxing effects of our Tahoe getaway at Lora’s place. The house is very comfy, clean, roomy, quiet, and surrounded by immense beauty. We didn’t have a need to turn on the TV. Instead we took several walks to Lake Baron (A quick 15 minute walk.). One evening we happened upon a bald Eagle. Such a breathtaking treat as he swooped down and caught a fish! We enjoyed our mornings on the outside sunny deck. We played pool, sat in the hot tub, played games, and enjoyed using the new BBQ for a mouth watering meal. Lora is a perfect host who ensures that everything is to our utmost satisfaction. I highly recommend booking your next vacation amongst the Tahoe blue skies, tall pines with top notch accommodations.

The location couldn't have been more perfect for what we had planned! The house was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We were lucky enough to be snowed on for a full day there! We could have easily kept ourselves busy just at the house with all the snow we got. We did venture out to the ski resort & had lots of fun. Another group with us rented snow mobiles for the day. The neighborhood is quiet & nice so we took some walks around while it was snowing. I have a very early riser (young child). We were both excited to watch the tractors blow snow from the roads & driveways super early in the morning. The other people in our group didn't even hear the tractor & were shocked to see how clear the roads were when they woke. Btw, the tractor isn't loud so it won't wake you. The host is the sweetest & super fast at responding both before, during & after our rental. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves! We will be back (maybe even this season)!

Beautiful home, there was nothing left out when preparing their home to share with others. It has everything you could imagine plus they go above and beyond.Walking distance to a lake, friendly neighbors,great area to ride bikes.Snow activities practically across the street, Close proximity to everything one may need,grocery,cafe, shopping just down the road a bit. My family and I have been renting homes off of VRBO for many years. I want everyone to know that this is one of the best homes we have ever rented. When we rent we look for certian qualities. We have 2 dogs and of course we need a back yard that is fenced in. This home had a large fenced yard and I never had to worry about them getting out. The home was large and very well maintained. There was plenty of space to roam the home and not feel crowded. The amentities were fantastic. I want to thank the home owners for having enough pots and pans and dishes to serve more than 8 people at a time most homes hardly have and supplies to even cook with. We rent and we usually don't eat out much to try and save money. we had plenty of pans and cook ware to really enjoy cooking in the kitchen. All of the rooms were lovely and had a fan to use when it was hot. We loved our week here.

Stayed here March 10-13 2016 and had an amazing weekend. The house was beautiful and easily accommodated 8 of us with room to spare for more. The house had everything we were looking for; easy access to Heavenly, games, hot tub, and full kitchen. Look forward to staying here next year on another snowboard adventure!

VRBO Bear stayed here: I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location, home, and the owner! Lake Tahoe is a beautiful, scenic area with many outdoor activities. The home is just 15 minutes away from Heavenly Valley which offers skiing and snowboarding, 20 minutes from the casino, and just a couple minutes from the grocery store and good local dining. The home is very spacious, and it easily accommodated a large group of 11. There are games, supplies, and extras (hot tub, bicycles, pool table, etc.) galore! Everything we could possibly need is available – towels, extra bedding/blankets, kitchen items, toiletries, and entertainment. The atmosphere is very warm, welcoming, and cozy. It is a great place for family and friends to stay together. The owner, Lora, is extremely responsive and helpful. She provided quick answers and made sure we were doing well during our stay. I highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to South Lake Tahoe. You won’t regret it! The VRBO Bear

April 11-14th, 2013 Thursday-Sunday Our family spent a weekend in this beautiful home (Us, Our parents, 4 adult children, 2 girlfriends & our niece) that had plenty of comfy beds & rooms for everyone! It's not only beautiful in appearance but also very clean, warm & welcoming. The interior style is very pleasing to the eye. You can tell much thought goes into even the smallest of details! The pictures shown are very accurate but this home is much more beautiful in person.This house literally has everything you need for a fun filled family weekend! There's something for every age! We took the short drive to the Casinos, had a nice dinner and returned home for a friendly game of pool and relaxing in the hot tub! A perfect day! Saturday some of us took a bike ride (there are many to choose from in the garage) while others took a short walk to the park & lake. Grandpa took a nap in the Hammock in the backyard. The girls took a drive into town to shop at various local boutiques while the guys played horseshoes, watched the Giants game & The Golf Masters Tournament on the 50 inch plasma TV. We cooked dinner on Saturday evening (the kitchen is well equipped just like at home). We played lots of games (Wii, Cards, pool, Board games) in which there is no shortage of throughout the house! If you wish for some quiet time…every room has a flat screen & there's a variety of movies to choose from. Although there is no place like home....It was very hard to leave on Sunday! We really had such a great time! We will definitely be back! Thank you Lora for allowing our family to enjoy your family’s home as if it was our own. We rented the house for a weekend for my husband's 50th birthday. All he wanted was relaxing time with his family - especially the grandkids! Our 3 kids, 2 nephews and a girlfriend and the granchildren came. My husband got everything he wanted! -including a nice soak in the hot tub and a bike ride. I think he said "Thank you honey" about 6 times that weekend. The whole family had a really great time. What a great house.

This place is so beautiful! Everything was clean an meticulously kept. It had everything we needed for creating our fancy meals and playing games. The spa was large and clean. The neighborhood was perfect for walks and bike riding. We loved the little restaurant that we walked to. Incredible food!! We plan to return when we can. Highly recommend.

My family has stayed in this home three times now and each time we are thoroughly delighted by our stay. The owners have taken great care in making sure everything you may possibly need is provided. The home is clean, thoughtfully furnished and decorated with the most comfortable beds. The backyard provides endless entertainment and the second story patio is perfect for dining al fresco while enjoying the beautiful Tahoe sunsets. The location is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful park for all ages just a short walk or bike ride away. Coming home at the end of a long day is a treat itself as we often look forward to relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool or one of their countless board games. We love this place and look forward to many more visits! The house is in great condition and perfect access to ski resorts, sledding, golf, hiking and Lake Tahoe. Lora is great and very accommodating. We had a fantastic time and would go back for sure. Very kid friendly home.
