Our stay at Lindsay’s lake house was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the house felt welcoming—clean, well-stocked, and full of little touches that made us feel right at home. Lindsay was a fantastic host, graciously allowing us a late checkout, which gave us a chance to soak in a bit more of the tranquility. The setting itself was peaceful and restorative, and the local hospitality made it even more special. Mr. Tommy, the neighbor, generously let us borrow his paddle boat, and his kindness was just one of the many things that made this trip unforgettable. If you're looking for a calm, rejuvenating escape with genuinely kind people and a beautiful lake view, I can’t recommend this place enough. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit!

I love this lake front home! It's so spacious with large rooms for big families to get away for a summer vacation. The host was awesome and we would definitely stay again. Next time, I will bring my kayak and spend more time on the lake and swimming.

The place was very clean and well stocked but there was only one roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of TP in each bathroom for a 3 night stay with 6 people. We went and got more. Bring your own coffee but having a choice of pods or coffee maker was nice and I brought both. The house is a mobile home which I did. It gather from the pictures. It was my first time staying in one.. surprisingly it was solid and everything worked great! The covered boat dock we perfect with loads of space. We parked 2 boats and a jet ski at one point. Our neighbor Tommy took us out on a sunset cruise on our 1st night since we were picking up a boat on the next day! The back porch was great and the flat lot was most appreciated!!

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet slough, and Lindsay was very responsive to our questions.

The house was absolutely perfect. Clean and cozy, a home away from home! The bedrooms were all comfortable and decorated quaintly with an adorable vintage feel. The living room had comfy couches and a beautiful view. The kitchen had literally everything we needed - I won’t even need to pack my crockpot next year - because we WILL be returning!! But the inside doesn’t even come close to the amazing yard! With four places to rest and relax and watch the kids swim and play - it was perfect! Top it off with amazing neighbors and we can’t wait to return! Thank you for an amazing place to get away with my family!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The finishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The slough was very private and quiet while we were there. We kept our boat at the dock and enjoyed the quick water access. We would come back.

My family and i stayed at Catalpa House for my sons 16 Birthday . Our stay could not have been any more perfect . We will forever cherish the memories that were made . It was so quiet and the most peaceful vacation. We are planing another stay in a couple of weeks . ~Angela~

This was our family’s second time to Lake Martin. This home was located in a quiet cove with plenty of backyard space. We loved everything about it. It was very clean and accommodating. My young grandchildren had lots of space to run around. Will definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Catalpa House. Great house with lots of space and well equipped for all our cooking needs. Beautiful lake front spot with nice lake views. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely consider staying her again.
