POLICIES

CLEANING FEES

We strive to provide the most comfortable stay possible for our guests.  Therefore, a non-refundable cleaning fee of $350 is required, as it is our goal to ensure that the Penthouse is immaculate upon our guests arrival.

CHECK-IN & OUT TIMES

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am.

SMOKING POLICY

The Harbor Heights Penthouse has a strict NO SMOKING policy. An additional cleaning fee of $500 will be charged if anyone smokes inside or around the Penthouse premises.  There is NO SMOKING permitted on the balcony.

NO PETS

Pets are not permitted in the residence at any time. Any evidence of pets in the rental will automatically result in a $500 deposit deduction for extra cleaning.

HOUSE RULES

Please respect the Alaskan custom, and remove your shoes at the door.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit in the amount of $1,000 shall be charged as a ‘hold’ to the Tenant’s booking credit card approximately 1 – 3 days prior to check-in. This deposit shall be released within 14 days of check-out, less any expenses to remedy damage and make repairs, excessive cleaning costs, and any other fees incurred in restoring the premise to as-rented condition. Tenants will notify the property manager if a credit card other than the card used for booking is to be used. If a security deposit credit card hold is declined by the processor or bank, the Tenant will be required to provide a valid credit card number prior to check-in.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation dates.  The other 50% payment is due 30 days prior to the reservation dates.

The confirmation deposit is refundable, less a handling charge of $250, if the cancellation is submitted 31 days before the beginning of the reservation.  No refund will be issued within 30 days of the reservation dates.

Other booking companies (VRBO) have differing cancellation and return policies. Please check their return policy before booking, if you are not using this site to plan your trip.

ACCESS

The Harbor Heights Penthouse is located on the top floor of a 3-story building. You can take the elevator to the second floor where you’ll find the entrance to your vacation rental. You’re almost there! A flight of stairs inside the door leads right to your living area. Discover the awesome views that you can enjoy throughout your stay!


Location

Sitka is located on Baranof Island in Southeastern Alaska and is accessible by air or boat.
