We had the best time! The condo was so clean and had the most beautiful view. The beds were very comfortable! Check in was the easiest process I have ever experienced. Planning another stay soon!

Sunbird Penthouse 1208E Review: Accessible Paradise Found My daughter and I stayed at the Sunbird in the penthouse 1208E. The owner Mary, was wonderful. My daughter is disabled and we were having a very tough time trying to find a proper unit to rent with the proper accommodations and handicap access to the beach. She went out of her way with such a big heart to make this stay possible for us. The unit was absolutely BREATHTAKING! My daughter has the worst chronic pain condition known to modern science, complex regional pain syndrome, and has been home and mainly bed ridden for years. We needed somewhere with a gorgeous view for the days she would not be able to leave. I wanted so bad for her to be able to reset her mind and body from constant pain, doctors appointments and feel like a full person again. This girl has fought and fought. She was supposed to graduate this year, unfortunately that was not able to happen due to her condition. But I did Promise her years ago before her diagnosis that she would be able to go on a vacation of her choice. Since we were not able to go on a plane, she chose Panama City Beach. She could not have made a better choice. This vacation was very important, emotional and so very needed for both of us. I am giving you that detail so you can understand how wonderful the owner and the penthouse was and if you have any special accommodations, Mary’s unit is 100% it! Wide walk ways, elevator access, 12th floor, floor to ceiling window view of the ocean, 1bd, 1 bath but has a daybed in the dinning area as well as a large sofa bed, full kitchen stocked with everything you need, 2 pools both walk in, handicap access and chair and umbrella service until October 31st believe included. There is an extra fee for wristbands for $6 and parking I believe that was $35. The beach was private and not crowded. No pets allowed unless they are service animals. No smoking in the unit or patio. The unit was beautifully decorated, not cluttered. Colors matched the whole colors of the ocean just beautifully. Make sure to check if there is any events going on as well. We went unknowingly during bike week. Took me 1 hr 20 minutes to get to Pier Park, 5 miles down the road. But trust me!!! This place is 110% worth the booking and stay!! Just absolutely gorgeous! I cannot recommend enough!
