The Maxwelton Beach Escape is a privately owned, 1600 square foot, two story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home.  Built in 2002, this beautiful Whidbey Island home lends itself to a relaxing, fun vacation home on Maxwelton Beach, which is known for one of the best places on Whidbey to watch the sunsets!

Amenities & Accommodations

The home has a spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings throughout.  There is a free standing propane fireplace, flat screen tv with soundbar and plenty of living room space to relax after a day of playing in the large yard or walking for miles on the sandy beach.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and features a large dining table with seating for eight.  A newer queen bed is in the main level bedroom, for those that don't want to deal with stairs.  The large upstairs master bedroom has a king bed and a great view of the shipping lanes & sunsets. The second upstairs bedroom has a double bed & two twin beds for those families with numerous kids.

The large yard has its very own horseshoe pit and there is plenty of room to play yard games.  There is a firepit area at the end of your private boardwalk to your beach, so don't forget to bring the makings for Smores!

There is a community park just up the street with a playground and baseball diamond, so bring your gloves & bats if you want to play ball! 

Make sure to bring your bikes, as the home is on a flat dead end street where there is plenty of room to go for a nice ride.  Bring your kayaks too, as you can launch them right from your own beach.  

Please be aware there is only parking for two vehicles.

Rental Policies and Conditions

Payments Accepted: Personal Checks, Peer to Peer Payment.

There is a 5 night minimum stay required during peak season and two night minimum stay during the off season. During the off season, all major holiday reservations require a 3 night minimum stay, and are at a higher rate.

This is a pet friendly home and accepts a mature small to medium size dog, with owner approval and with paying a $75 pet fee. 

To ensure and provide a standard of cleanliness in the home, a cleaning/garbage fee of $250 is charged per reservation.

Washington State Sales Tax of 10.8% applies.

All reservations require a refundable security/damage deposit be paid.  The amount is dependent on the number of nights reserved.
