We spent few days in Dillon Beach and had the opportunity to stay at the Oar House. From the beginning, Dillon Beach Rentals were communicative and went above and beyond answering all of my questions and playing endless phone tags with me.
Our family of 3 consisted of a preschooler and at the last minute, our niece decided to join us for the week. The house is separated with door in between upstairs and downstairs and downstairs had an outside door as well. For those of you wondering, downstairs suite (because it really is a suite) has a full bathroom with a shower, laundry room, couch, tv, two lounge chairs and bed. Let me just say, our teenager had so much fun there and really enjoyed her space while having access to upstairs using a steep stairs. I guess hanging out with two adults and a preschooler isn't all fun. Hahahha.
Upstairs consisted of kitchen, dining table, couch, fire place(?) and two bedrooms. Downside was that there weren't any window mesh screens, but even with windows open, we didn't experience any mosquitos or other bugs coming in.
This place is about 1.5 minute drive to the beach front, or about 8-10 minute walk to the beachfront. If you do end up driving, let the cashier know that you will be coming back throughout the day and they will give you a pass you can display on your dashboard.
The location, the hospitality that we experienced were top-notch, and we would come back in a heartbeat next time we are in town.
