Whether you're looking for adventure or simply a relaxing day by the water, there are plenty of activities to enjoy just minutes from Borinquen Base Detachment.

Spend the day at one of the area's beautiful beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, surf, paddleboard, or simply soak up the Caribbean sunshine. Horseback riding along the beach is another popular activity located just a short drive from our gates.

Nature enthusiasts can explore the scenic trails and waterfalls at Gozalandia Falls in San Sebastián, hike to the breathtaking cliffs and secluded shoreline of Survival Beach, or visit local favorites like Crash Boat Beach and Peña Blanca Beach. You can also explore the historic Punta Borinquen Lighthouse Ruins and enjoy spectacular ocean views along Puerto Rico's northwest coast.

For those looking to experience Puerto Rico's rich culture and history, the city of Ponce, approximately 90 minutes south, offers the Castillo Serrallés Museum, the renowned Museo de Arte de Ponce, beautiful historic architecture, and a charming town square. Coffee lovers can also enjoy tours of local coffee haciendas in Puerto Rico's central mountain region.
