Does it get any better than this? Wondering what to do once you've settled into your guest house. Each guest house is equipped with a binder to help you with things to do and see in the area. Of course a day of fun and sun can be found at several nearby beaches, all just a short drive from Air Station Borinquen. Horseback riding on the beach is another popular activity located just a few minutes from our gates. Camuy Caves, located just 70 minutes from us host one of the world's largest underground river systems. The Arecibo Observatory, home of the world's largest radio telescope is just around the bend (take that literally) from Camuy Caves!
Ponce, located approximately 90 minutes south of us plays host to a coffee plantation tour, the Serralles Castle which offers several tours daily, a fabulous art museum, and a unique and historic town square.  Restaurants are plentiful in the area and offer everything from local food to Italian, to Mexican, to seafood and steak, or just good o'le hamburgers!

Our MWR Recreational gear locker "Tropical Rentals" is open Monday through Friday from 12:30-18:30, Sat 0900-1300 for your recreational gear needs. For a very nominal rental fee, you can rent snorkel gear, life jackets, kayaks, beach pop-ups for sun protection, ice chests, bicycles and various other items for your vacation enjoyment. There are many FREE items for the Coast Guard Active duty members and their dependents.
